Campus Notes Now 30 Years

Everybody used a Campus Note before, now it turns 30 years old.  KOKUYO is constantly renewing the design, reminiscing the past and looking at the future, they now package the notebooks 4 versions in a pack (as seen in the left hand side of this picture), and here comes a new version called Paracuruno in accordance of the Universal Design concept.  It means "very easy to flip" in Japanese. The new version comes in two sizes and 3 colors, the right hand side of the notebook is cut in a way you can flip to and locate the right page with exceptional ease.  Check out the Campus Notes homepage. It is so funny you must see this new series of commercials from KOKUYO. Tamahotchi means Egg. It is designed to make stapling easy, instead of using thumb and index finger, you can just press the stapler using your palm. Quick and easy. What Is Universal Design?

There has been a movement in Japan to design great products that are easy to use, good looking and are not limited by user's physical abilities, they call these products Universal Design products. One of the biggest stationery company KOKUYO made a whole series of products based on these principles. So when you see the logo you know the designers spent tremendous efforts to make products to improve life in small ways bit by bit.

Rhodia With A Leather Touch

You see them always, you see these little yellow notepads and you wonder why everybody is selling them. Well, there is a huge demand of these notepads, including famous scientists, artists, designers and people who like to use graph paper for notes, sketching and hand drafting.
