We saw the sell sheets months ago but when the samples finally arrived a few weeks ago, they totally exceeded our expectations, I mean they are absolutely beautiful and thoughtful. You've got to check out the details in these photos I took to find out more.
The covers of these Peanuts Limited Edition Collection Moleskine journals all have an embossed "Peanuts 60th Anniversary" logo subtly sits on the top left hand corner of the cover. Illustration of our beloved characters are done in white paint giving a very strong contrast with the black journal.
I'm quite sure customers buying them really wouldn't want to use them, probably a collector's item for many. They come in pocket and large size, both ruled or blank. Honestly I wish the banderole graphics were actually printed on the journals coz the look so beautiful. Without them, the journals are like naked or missing something.
The inside of the front covers either has a saying from Charlie Brown or Lucy, while the last page of the journal has a very cute Peanuts family tree. The most interesting add-on for me is the stickers, I wish Moleskine had done more.
These journals are selling like hotcakes in our stores right now, I'm guessing that they are far more popular than the Pacman limited edition, but each to his/her own taste.
